With over 20 years of experience, he has worked as a prosecutor, a defense attorney, a lobbyist inside the State Legislature, and an advisor to business owners. His career began inside the system, as a Rule-9 Prosecutor with the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, before he moved to private practice in Olympia. That experience still shapes his DUI defense work. He knows exactly how the state builds a case, which means he knows exactly where to challenge it.
As principal of Lobby Washington, LLC, Chester represents associations and industries before the Washington State Legislature, working directly with lawmakers, the Governor's office, and state agencies on the legislation that affects their bottom line.
